Nestled at 18 Rue Philibert Lucot, this charming eatery has earned a loyal following, celebrated not just for its food but also for the warmth of its owners, an elderly Vietnamese couple who pour their hearts into every bowl they serve.

Phó 18 specializes in the beloved Vietnamese noodle soup, pho, which is a must-try for both locals and tourists alike. The broth here is a harmonious blend of spices—clean yet bursting with flavor, inviting you in with each enticing spoonful. You'll find the perfect balance of tender beef, which melts in your mouth, and noodles that boast the ideal texture, soaking in the rich, aromatic broth. Many reviews, such as that of excited customer Monica V, highlight the exquisite quality that made dining at Phó 18 an unforgettable experience, especially for those with Vietnamese heritage.

Beyond the quintessential pho, the menu offers a variety of traditional dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The fresh spring rolls, often praised by patrons, are incredibly satisfying and represent Vietnamese cuisine at its finest. They are served with a zesty dipping sauce that elevates the experience even further. And don't forget to save room for dessert—try the popular “three color” dessert that many claim is the perfect sweet ending to your meal.

But it’s not just the food that makes Phó 18 remarkable; it’s the atmosphere that envelops you as soon as you step inside. The restaurant is simple yet welcoming, designed to make you feel at home. The owners’ friendliness shines through as they share the stories behind their dishes, creating a dining experience that is less about merely eating and more about connecting with the culture and history behind the food. As noted by Wilson Cheung, the level of service here exceeds expectations, making each visit feel like a cherished moment rather than just a meal.

With generous portions and reasonable prices, Phó 18 stands out as an excellent value for those in search of authentic Vietnamese flavors in Paris. Whether you’re a seasoned pho lover or new to this delectable cuisine, your taste buds will be thankful for a visit to this hidden gem.

In summary, if you're seeking the best pho experience in Paris, look no further than Phó 18. This delightful restaurant is a testament to the power of great food, heartwarming service, and the joy of sharing culinary traditions. Embark on your flavorful journey today—your palate will thank you!

Best pho I’ve ever had in my life. The owners are very nice. We also tried the chicken but it was oily and we didn’t like it.

We found a real gem! I had heard great reviews about this place so decided to take my parents to try on our recent trip to Paris. My parents are from Vietnam and I have failed to find a pho restaurant in London which has impressed them. Finally Phó 18 impressed them with the quality of the pho (clean but flavoursome broth, perfect noodle texture and tender beef) and dessert (the “three colour” che ba mao coconut drink was the best we have ever had). The lovely owner talked us through how they make their delicious broth, confirming that each batch is made with large bones of Charolais beef (French bred and certified) which are slowly cooked each day to ensure a balanced flavour and freshness (there is no overnight broth which is why the broth is so clear in comparison to the cloudiness of other restaurants). The sweetness and flavours of the beef infiltrates the soup, without the need for strong seasoning (which some other restaurants will use to substitute flavour). The che dessert is made fresh (not with artificial powders) and with quality coconut milk therefore there is a limited amount available so don’t miss this before they are sold out. It’s a shame we do not live in Paris as we would certainly be regulars. Highly recommend this restaurant for those that want to enjoy high quality and authentic pho and che.

Everything we ordered tastes so good and got great portions, too. Eating outside on the street isnt also loud so it’s a great place to sit outside and enjoy the summer weather of Paris though you can also sit inside. Overall, would recommend if you’re into Vietnamese food with big portions. If you are a small eater, consider sharing with someone. Enjoy!

Randomly selected this Vietnamese Restaurant due to its good Google reviews. And yes, I can confirmed it's a 5 stars. A Parisian dining style with authentic Vietnamese delicacy. Friendly boss that can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and French of course (but she said no English ) She recommended their Beef vege wrap...awesome! And the beef soup noodle portion is very generous with lots of beef slices
